Anyone Want to Help Unpack? |
Well I have officially gotten everything moved. There is a bad side to this though. I now have until Tuesday to unpack it all and find a new "home" for it in our new apartment before my hubbies sister arrives. You may think okay she has over 5 days in which to do this. Well while you are correct I don't see it happening. I can tell you most of the things that need to be unpacked is stuff that either needs to be washed (anyone want to help with that also?) or I have no freaken clue what to do with it. I have been staring at the pile in what is supposed to be my living room since Sunday. I have all the heavy stuff put in the appropriate places, dressers in the bedrooms, computer desk in the living room corner, couch in a nice place to divide the walk way yet still being able to sit on it to watch the TV, recliner in save position as the couch except dividing the living room from the dining room and best of all the beds in the rooms so we can sleep.
I did at one point in this round of moving experience a moment that everything was in the appropriate spot. Then came the second round of moving. The one that was suppose to happen over a week ago. Except dumb a** landlord locked us out early because the pipes in the house had frozen and he felt it was our fault. Well when he did that we still had quite a lot of our stuff in the house that we still wanted. Can I just throw it all out now that we got it out. I don't want to unpack just staring at it is making me depressed. UGH!!!!!! |

Gotta Love the Cheshire Cat |
Jabberwocky!
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun The frumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his vorpal blade in hand; Long time the manxome foe he sought- So rested he by the Tumtum tree, And stood a while in thought
And, as in uffish thought he stood, The jabberwock, with eyes of flame, Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through The vorpal blade went snicker-snack! He left it dead, and with its head He went galumphing back.
"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beamish boy! O frabjous day! Callooh, Callay!" He chortled in his joy.
'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogroves, And the mome raths outgrabe.

August: Hello everyone. It has been awhile since I have written. I am now stuck at work sick. This really sucks. I'm freezing cold and my stomach is REALLY upset.
September: I'm Worth $1,034,500
October: Dear Stupid Landlord: Okay if you really expect me to pay my rent this month you are crazy.
November: Okay the new Harry Potter movie comes out in one week, that is 7 days 21 hours and 6 minutes. I have already bought my tickets to go see it. I am such a dork.

Boredom Has Hit |
I never thought that I would tire of surfing the internet to entertain myself in the almost 6 hours I have left after getting all of my work done. Well now I have. I haven't found any good blogs or internet sites to pass the time. The ones that I do read have either slowed there postings or are blogs that only post one or two times a week in the first place. Also I usually love to read but lately I haven't found any good books that I can get into. Someone save me from my 6 hours of BOREDOM!!!!!! |

Lazy Bloggers |
Wow I am at work trying to not fall a sleep so I decided to go blog surfing. I was trying to find some interesting blogs that I could read in my boredom or as is the case to night in my state of zombie-dome. Well in blog surfing I have found that many a people have had the intention of creating a blog and doing the upkeep it takes but not having any follow through on it. Some that I found haven't posted for over a year or they only have there initial post with nothing else to follow said post. Then there are also the ones that fit into both of those categories. It has been forever since they have posted along with only one post on there blog. Okay what was the point in wasting the time to setup a profile then not even come back more than once. Ah hello can we say waist of time!!!! Well needless to say I had to "save as draft" on this post to go take a nap. I feel much better now. Though if anyone wants to give me some suggestions on some blogs that I could read I would greatly appreciate it. |

Hand Writing Analysis |
The results of your analysis say: You plan ahead, and are interested in beauty, design, outward appearance, and symmetry. You are a shy, idealistic person who does not find it easy to have relationships, especially intimate ones. You are diplomatic, objective, and live in the present. You are not very reserved, impatient, self-confident and fond of action. You enjoy life in your own way and do not depend on the opinions of others.

What Action Hero Would You Be? |
| |
You scored as Batman, the Dark Knight. As the Dark Knight of Gotham, Batman is a vigilante who deals out his own brand of justice to the criminals and corrupt of the city. He follows his own code and is often misunderstood. He has few friends or allies, but finds comfort in his cause.

He done did it again!!! |
Okay I consider myself a reasonable person. That it takes a lot for me to really and truly HATE someone. Well my "former" landlord has definitely made that list. We were to be out of the s*!#t hole house of his by the 15th of December. Well come to find out he an immature SOB without a conscience. I went to finish moving this weekend and he had already changed the locks on the house. Well as you guessed we still had quite a lot of our things still in there. So believing that we had till the 15th I called him, repeatedly I might add, with no answer or call back from him. So I am going to have to go to the courthouse tomorrow and take him to court because he is an ass. Oh how fun it is to be me. Hopefully he will call and I can get our stuff out. |

E-mail Etiquette |
Okay I have a question for everyone out there in the blog-o-sphere. Tonight I sent an e-mail to my friends and family telling them about a virus that I thought was dangerous. Well come to find out that is wasn't a true virus and that the e-mail was sent out to scare people. Obviously my intent was to not scare people when I got the e-mail from a family member and forwarded it to the people that I know and care about. Well one of the friends that I e-mailed it to looked up the virus name and found it to be a hoax and proceeded to "reply to all" on his e-mail and send this information to all of the people that I had originally sent it to with one exception he added this: AUDREA!! STOP THIS CRAP ! DONT BE TRYING TO SCARE PEOPLE YA DORK LOL.
Okay I can see where he was trying to be helpful and send it to the people that I sent it to so they didn't get all scared. But should I have been given the chance to do that? Let alone not be called names and not have him lead them to believe that I would try to intentionally scare them?
Am I over reacting and getting mad at him for no reason or should he have sent and e-mail to people he didn't even know?
I don't know. The only thing I do know is that I don't think what he did was right. I think he should have sent me the e-mail and either asked if he should sent it to those people or given me the chance to do that.
What is your opinion? |

Digital Camera's |
This is what happens when your kids play with a digital camera they think doesn't work. Then you get the pictures off of it and find this.
These are the sort of pictures you save to embarrass your children later in life. Instead I'm posting them on the web for all to see. |

Water Or Coke? |
We all know that water is important but I've never seen it written down like this before.
WATER
1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. (Likely applies to half world population)
2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.
3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as much as 3%.
4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a U-Washington study.
5. Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.
6. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.
7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.
8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%, and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.
Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?
COKE
1. In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.
2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in two days.
3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.
4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.
5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.
6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.
7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.
8. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.
For Your Info
1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its pH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days. Phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis.
2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the Hazardous material place cards reserved for Highly corrosive materials.
3. The distributors of coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years!
Now the question is, would you like a glass of water or coke? |

Operation Eden |
Operation Eden
I have been reading this blogg for several months now. It tells the story of a young man, his brother and mother in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He is a great photographer his pictures are wonderful and he tells the story of the hurricane in ways the news couldn't. Please if you can help him in any way do so. His family is getting screwed by our government and there agencies. Read his story. Get it out there that these people are still dealing with this hurricane months later. The news has forgotten them but I haven't. Please pass on this story!!!!!!!! |
