Cover Art |
Here I go again with the Harry Potter Stuff. Most people probably already know this but they have released the cover art for the new Harry Potter book. I can't wait for July. (I know I'm slightly pathetic) They have also release the number of pages. It will be a whopping 784 pages for the US edition. |

SD Obsession |
Okay I now feel I have an obsession with SD cards but I couldn't help but share this with everyone. Most of you know that I work at a hotel at the front desk. Most of you also know that I work at night and get bored and entertain easily. So tonight I had a guest come down needing to print a document so I sent him to our "business library" or more commonly called the "business center." I have no clue why they called it the business library there are no books in there. Okay but on with the story. The document he needed printed was an Adobe file (pdf) and for whatever reason the computer wouldn't print it. So I volunteered to print it. Well he handed me this SD Card. I'm thinking well there goes that idea I can't print this I don't have a card reader. I tell the guest this and he then snaps the card in half and tells me it will work in a USB drive. Let me tell you that was rockin' cool in my book. I want one if anybody needs gifty ideas for me. |

Funny |
Okay in my demented way I have found a web page that is funny. At least it was at 3 am while stuck at work. It was featured by blogger a couple of weeks ago but I just found it in there archives. http://www.netdisaster.com/ With this web page you can attach another web site with some natural disaster. Say you would like to see you Companies page attached but don't have the nerve to actually to it then here you go. Okay go try it. I did it to my blog and it is still alive any well. I even had all of the text sucked off of it. That was entertaining. |

Doc |
I had my appointment with my doctor last Thursday. Well in normal Audi fashion I got sick the night before. Woke up the next morning, dragged myself to see the doctor. I figured while I was there paying my co-pay to see him for my migraines I would get this damn cold I've been fighting under control. Well I guess it wasn't just any cold. I had a sinus infection. I don't ever remember having a sinus infection before, well a diagnosed one at least. I've had these symptoms before but never went to the doctor thinking it was just allergies. Though this time I had a fever to go with it. I never get fevers so I felt like I was about to die. So got my drugs for my migraines, got the antibiotics for the sinus infection and headed home with my fever to my family that I had in town from Colorado. Yup I still had to be the hostess, go to my sons party and to the circus all while feeling totally horrible. (Pictures of the circus and other things to come) |

Stress |
The body has always responded to stress in strange, unusual, or even painful ways. I think I could handle the strange and unusual but for me I get to be graced with the painful side of stress. I have suffered from migraines since I was about 11 and sadly became accustomed to them. Though when I moved to Oklahoma, to my relief, they all but went away. Until recently. They have come back with vengeance. For some reason I can't remember them being like this. Maybe it is because I have kids of my own to help the migraine to new reaches of pain. Maybe I have gotten used to almost 6 years without them that I have gone soft. Whatever the reason they must be stopped. Three of them in less that two weeks was even much for me in hay day. So wish me luck at the Docs on Thursday. Also wish for some damn good drugs cuz I need those more than anything right now. |

Fixed, well Sort of |
I thought I would share with everyone out there in blog land that I figured out the SD card problem. Seems that no matter how long you scream and curse at them it doesn't matter that when you get a tech guy for there company to help you it will inevitably work, and flawlessly. Then later when you try to change your music to something else because you have listened to the same songs for 5 days strait for eight hours it again is a pain in your ass. |

SD Card |
For my birthday I entered into the world of having an MP3 player. I spent only $35 for it with 256 MB Flash Memory already on it. I figured for that price it was a steal knowing that I could add an SD card later to expand the memory. I was happy with it till a few days later my loving hubby bought me a 1GB memory card to expand the memory because frankly 256 just didn't go as far as I wanted it to. Well the music I had fit just perfectly on it after I added the card. In my happiness that I could now carry with me every song I have ever said "That song rocks" I proceeded to find more of the songs I think rock. While loading them onto the SD Card I got the sad "bing" from my computer stating that it could no longer copy files to the removable drive. Thinking it is full I right click and go to properties just to to check. To my dismay it was only half full. Frustration sets in as I try to figure this out. I couldn't figure it out so I get my techie hubby to look at it and he believed that the card was bad. Agreeing it was probably bad I go to Wally World today and exchange it. Come home and hook up the new card just to find out it is doing the same thing. I'm thinking this really sucks. Again I head back to Wal*Mart and exchange it for a different brand of memory card. Bring it home dreading what might happen when I hook it up. Same thing, it only fills half way. Only 113 songs for a 1 gig card. This bites!!!!!!! I can get almost all of my music on but not quite. Not enough to make me say this was worth the extra $35. I now have spent $70 on something I believe isn't working the way it should. So if there is anyone out there who has a suggestion for me please I would love to have it. I'm pretty tech savvy and Mr. Audi does this stuff for a living and is stumped. I am about to say bub bye snazzy SD Card you are out of here but I'd hate to do that because then I would have to choose which snazzy songs I have would be go with me anywhere worthy. |
