Karma will always come back and bite you in the ass. Well you remember my plugged dryer vent? You remember the apartment manager that pretty much told me I was full of crap when I told her mine didn't go any where? Well I found out yesterday that when she went home to the house she rents that her dryer hose was plugged and that when she got maintenance over to fix it she was told she didn't have a dryer vent that the hose was just stuck into the wall. Karma is a Bitch sometimes!!!!! |

 I've worked at this hotel for a little over three years. For me that is a close to a record for me for staying at one place of employment. I can say that I have come to enjoy the people I work with. I can even say that some of them are my friends. Recently my boss anounced that she would be leaving to Fort Worth to another hotel. Her last day was last friday. So needless to say we all miss her. So tonight the stupidist thing made me go ah I wish she wouldn't have left. By her desk she had a trash can. Every night it get emptied and every Monday night it is alway over flowing because she has been gone all weekend. Well seems that she wasn't here today it was EMPTY. It was one of those sureal moments that hits you like a ton of bricks and make you realize that the person is really gone and not coming back |

| So today I go over to the office to tell them that the time they spent cleaning the vents yesterday didn't fix the problem. I'm told to bad so sad for me that they cleaned out my vent and that because they spent four hours doing that they are behind today. HMMM not my fault. She also tells me that because they cleaned out the dryer vent that it must be my brand new dryer that must be the problem. I don't think so because when I hook my dryer up to the vent hose it doesn't dry and when I unhook it from the vent hose it dries. Which tells me the dryer vent is clocked or something else is wrong somewhere. So by this time I'm yelling and she pretty much tells me to get out. |

Almost three months ago we bought a new washer and dryer. Got it put into our apartment and discovered that the dryer vent was clogged. Since then I have been trying to get them to unclog it.
Yes we have been using the dryer but have been venting the hot air into the apartment. Not a big deal seems that it has been cold. We figure we are using the electicity to dry the clothes we might as well us is to heat the house. Well summer is here and it is gettin' hot. Can't be using the dryer to heat the house any longer. So once again I make my way over to the office to put in another work order.
This time I get someone to follow me back to my apartment to look at it. They snake it from inside the apartment and try to find where it vents to. Can't find it. So they go back to the office to get a longer snake and get sent to another apartment that has a broken pipe flooding there apartment. Told the will be back later.
I leave for my pot luck at work and come back to find two guys cleaning out two dryer vents on the back of the apartments. I'm think about damn time. I go inside put my potluck goodies away and leave to go pick the kids up at the bus stop so we can run some errans. I not ice that the vents they are cleaning can't possibly be mine because they are on the other side of the fire wall that divides my apartment and the one next to me. Well trying to save them some time I try to tell them this. They just don't get it so I leave and get the kids.
I come home to them putting the drying back and telling me that it is fixed. Well it isn't. So today I get to try to stay up till 9:00 to go over to the office to tell them is isn't fixed at all and that they need to figure it out.
This is going to be fun. I hope I get some kind of sleep today. I may end up come back to work to sleep today. UHG!!!! |

| Unraped |
The procrastinator that I am has paid of for me today. I had a pot luck contest at work today, which I won for best side dish, thank you very much. Had left and was running on fumes and had to stop for gas. I normally don't get gas by work because it is hotel ally and the prices are about 15 cent higher than everywhere else. With the prices the the way the are that is really bad. Well I pull into the gas station cursing myself for not getting gas before I left the house. Then I notice my god send. The mid grade gas is showing $2.22 a gallon. Yes you read that right $2.22 a gallon. I'm thinking yeah right I get that and it is going to be $3.22. Well knowing I get the mid grade anyway I think what the hell. Start filling up and low and behold it is my lucky day. Only cost me $34.00 to fill my 15 gallon tank. WOOO HOOo for me!!!!!!
I felt so unraped. Though the gas station I can gaurantee was going to feel raped shortly after I left because there was a yellow cab driver getting gas and noticed the great deal. Then broadcast it out to all of her cab buddie.
Wonder how long that mistake in price lasted? |

Who's that kid with the Oreo cookie? Likin' all the creamy middle like he did when he was little. Oh its hard to hide the kid inside...... Okay what the heck is the rest. I had the damn song running through my head as I was enjoying my lil bag on mini oreo's and milk. Now that I am share the experience with everyone I can remember the rest. Damn getting older!!! Okay, okay I know I'm not that old and that 28 is still young but I can't remember the rest of the song and google has let me down for the first time in a long time and wikipedia has also. Darn oreos and getting old. Though the snack was good. |

| Illusion |
I have always had a facination with optical illsions. They have some way of captivating my mind and making me think outside the box. I found this on the Might Optical Illsion page I visit and thought I would share it with you. It reminds me of the stairs optical illusion that drives me eyes nuts. Enjoy!!!!
